How to Know if You're On the Right Path
You define your own life, but the simple truth is that you’ll never know if you’re on the right path. That’s something that you’ll have to live, and eventually, you’ll find out that you couldn’t know how things would’ve been if you did something differently.
The truth is that you cannot change the past, so thinking whether you’re on the right path should not be of importance. You’re in the path that you’ve created for yourself. Now you need to act upon it.
You cannot continue to complain and sod about the bad things that have happened to you without doing something about it.
You need to be able to decide for yourself if you’re happy with the way that things are, and if you’re not, change them!
Change is going to occur whether you want it or not. It’s something that you cannot avoid. Change is going to happen.
Everything changes. That’s the only rule.
As such, this means that change is inevitable, and you need to learn how to take advantage of it. Being able to embrace change is not something that everyone can do.
If you can embrace change, perhaps you can also help others with it by talking about it! It’s silly, but hearing about how others have overcome things helps us do the same.
Life is full of surprises, and change is one of them. A move can surprise you, but only if you’re not prepared. If you mentally prepare yourself for things to change, then changes won’t come as a surprise to you. You’ll see that they are a part of the flow of life.
Even though life changes, you need to play thinking about the long run. The first question that I ask myself is: how do I see myself in 50 years? That answer drives every small decision that I make today.
The most meaningful changes that we can make in life are the ones that start by ourselves. We are the ones that decide how things affect us.
We are the ones that decide to change or not regarding a particular situation.
The truth is that we are only going to change once we accept things, and acceptance comes from within. We’re not able to embrace change if we don’t understand that we also need to change ourselves.
Changing is a process that involves everything around you, including you. That change may be something trivial, or it may be something profoundly life-changing, but you cannot change if you don’t want to change.
The only way things improve or become different is because you desire things to be changed. It’s as simple as that.
Once you have embraced change, you’ll adjust your direction whenever you feel that you’re not on the right track.
Change can be overwhelming. It can seem like something we won’t ever be able to accept, but everything becomes bearable in time.
You don’t need to be afraid of whatever may happen. It would be best if you let the universe decide. It would help if you focused on doing the best that you can with the hand that you got.
Once you’ve stopped being afraid, you’re able to see beyond.
Once you’ve stopped being afraid, you’re able to avoid the little things that may set you back.
It would be best if you worked consistently towards the things that you want.
You cannot quit on day 20. You cannot stop on day 200. You cannot leave on the day 2000.
You need to be constant, and you also need to be fearless to carry on without knowing what to expect. Once we stop being afraid of the unknown, we can embrace life in a new manner.
The unknown is just a bag full of possibilities, and we should be grabbing things from that bag as much as we can.
It can be silly to think, but if you start imagining yourself as your future self, you could accomplish significant changes today.
That’s because you’ll be seeing your current self through the eyes of who you envision yourself to be in the future. You’ll have a different point of view, which is a great advantage.
You should become your future self today. That way, every little action will take you closer to the place where you want to be.
How do you become your future self? Easy. Be the way that you wish you were. Be the way that you want to be. Think, plan, and behave in such terms.
Since your mind and thoughts are vibrations, this will cause that energy to go out to the universe. You need to start vibrating today with the way that you want to be in the future.
In other words, you don’t need something to happen to change. You can just decide to do it and slowly change the way you think, the way you act, and how you behave.
Everything will follow suit. You will take full control of your own life.
Change is difficult.
Seeing yourself with different eyes is difficult. We tend to stick to our routines, to the things that we already know. We tend to go away from the unknown.
We cannot predict the future, but we shouldn’t hinder our possibilities by being afraid of taking a leap, whenever required.
If your life needs to change direction, don’t wait for the right moment, change direction right away!
If you have been studying something that you don’t like, just quit and do something else, perhaps something that you do like.
If you aren’t sure about where you are right now, simply change it and go somewhere else.
If you want to be different, don’t wish for it, don’t wait for something to happen, just be different.
You’re the one that’s deciding.
Do you want to change? Just decide to do it!
